Raquel Bellot recommends Simstick

SimStick
Missing channel issue. Only affects the DSM2/Black Simstick

The problem

We have had a few customers reporting throttle or pitch channels missing or not operating properly. We have also found that the DX5e can be used after following the below instructions.

In tests we found that the order of the channels received is received incorrectly of the pulses are not presented to Simstick (DSM2 and the original black version) in a readable format.

Affected Equipment

DX6i (DSMX version)- It will have DSMX printed on the front of the tranmitter.
AR6110
AR6100e
Plus many of the Chineese copies/clones that exist of the 6 channel receivers. Please be aware that some of these are almost identical to the original genuine receivers.
This may affect some of the 7 channel DSM2 receivers too.

Work around

Equipment needed:Adaptor Loom
  • Purchase our Adaptor Loom: 7 Channel Loom
  • Make up your own loom from servo extension leads. - See here...

  • What you need to do

You need to plug channel 6 from the receiver into channel 2 on the Simstick (channel 1 is the opposite side to the arrow) and plug the rest of the channels in how you want. remembering that the Signal cables, i.e. yellow or white, must be plugged at the top of the block.

NOTE: This does not affect the SIMSTICK PRO or FUTABA Simstick
